Mobile phone technology has changed rapidly over the last few years and today's devices are much different than those on offer even just five years ago. Now, they are more akin to personal computers, albeit one that fits in the pocket.
Although it could be argued that Apple broke ground with their development of apps for the iPhone, this has been taken a stage further by the Android based cell phones. Android apps are now hugely popular, and as development of these is not as restricted as it is with Apple, their potential is much greater.
There are a number of apps available, but it can sometimes be difficult to gauge how useful they are just by reading the description. Fortunately, it is possible to watch videos of the apps being used and this gives a better idea to people how useful they will be.
Most of these Android apps videos are hosted on YouTube, and there a simple search will reveal dozens of videos about them. Some will demonstrate only one app, whilst others will review the top ten apps recently released.
